FAQs About The Resort


What does all-inclusive mean?



It means – everything you need, and then some, is included in the Tropical Nights Package price. Every Tropical Nights Package includes lodging at Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya and Tropical Nights concert access for 5 days and 4 nights (maximum Room/Suite occupancies apply). All Packages also include access to all of the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya’s lavish Resort Features and Amenities including all-inclusive food and drink at the resort’s 12 restaurants and 10+ bars and lounges. Additionally, a $400 Complimentary Resort Credit is included in each Room/Suite Package. This credit is redeemable for Rock Spa® treatments, World Class Golf, POSH® Beauty Salon services, select Offsite Excursions, and more.



What is not included in “all-inclusive?”



Flights to and from Tropical Nights are not included in Room/Suite Packages. Ultimate VIP Upgrades, Band Experiences, and Extended Stays are all “Add-Ons” and cost an additional fee.

Special Dining Experiences, Tequila and Wine Tastings, and Wine Upgrades, Offsite Excursions, Rock Spa services, signature golf, and POSH Beauty Salon services cost an extra fee but Complimentary Resort Credits ($400.00 per room included in all Packages) are accepted for most.



Will there be an information booth on site at the resort?



Yes.  Look for the Tropical Nights Concert Concierge Desk on site at the resort. In addition to helping answer any questions you may have, the Concert Concierge Desk will be where you can book spa & beauty services, golf rounds, offsite excursions, special dining & drink experiences, and more.



Will there be first aid on site? Or What are the medical resources provided by the resort?


Yes, we have a Medical Center and a Doctor on call 24 hour / 7 days here at the property. Any guest using this service will need to provide their insurance card (most of the insurance cards are accepted by the Medical Center). Otherwise, the charges have to be covered by each guest. Fees apply.


Will there be a place where hats, sunscreen, sunglasses etc. are sold?


Yes, there is a souvenir site at the resort where Tropical Nights guests will be able to buy items such as hats, sunscreen, bathing suites, etc. While we still encourage our guests to pack these items, the resort will have a selection of options available for purchase.


When can I check in and check out?


Check in begins at 3PM on the first day of the Tropical Nights adventure.  Guests must check out by 11am on the last day of the adventure.


Do I need to tip at the resort?


Tipping is included. However, we encourage our patrons to add additional tip for exceptionally executed services. Additional tipping is at the discretion of the guest.


Are there any other resort features that I should know about?


The Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya has extensive Features and Amenities accessible to all guests of Tropical Nights including unlimited food & drink at 12 world-class restaurants +10 bars & lounges, 6 pools, beachfront lounging with food/drink service, water activities, and more. Guests can practice yoga daily at the Yoga Temple or work out in the Body Rock® Fitness Center – complete with state-of-the-art fitness & weight training equipment. Guests can plan to enjoy snorkeling, the water slide, tennis courts, bicycles, kayaks, a climbing wall, a half basketball court, and much more.


Does the resort provide laundry service?


Yes, for an additional fee guests can take advantage of the Resort’s laundry service.


Are there ATM’s at the resort?


Yes. The ATM machines dispense money in Mexican currency only.


Does the resort provide hair dryers?


Yes, every Room/Suite at the resort has a blow-dryer.


Do the Rooms/Suites have safes?


Yes, each unit on the property has a complimentary digital safe for guests to keep their valuables secure.


Is there parking at the resort?


Yes, the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya offers free parking to all guests of the resort.


Is there a dress code at the resort?


For breakfast and lunch, clients can’t access the restaurants with their swim suits only, they must wear at least a short and a t-shirt, and they must wear sandals.
For Dinner the dress code is Formal-Casual in all restaurants except Ciao. This means for Men formal shorts and no sleeveless shirts, no flip flops.
For Ciao restaurant the dress code is for Men: Long pants.


How often can I eat?


There are food options 24/7 (room service is 24/7).


Will there be room service available?


Yes, 24-hour room service is available for guests and is included in the price of all Packages.


How much money will I need to bring?


While Tropical Nights is an all-inclusive vacation, we recommend that guests bring some extra money for transportation-related costs, extra activities offered outside of Packages, and offsite exploration.


Are pets allowed in the resort?


We’re sorry, but pets are not allowed at the resort.

Are there phones in the Rooms/Suites?


Yes, there are phones in each room with complimentary calls to the continental US & Canada.


Is there internet at the resort?


Yes, there is complimentary wireless internet in the Rooms/Suites.


Are there TVs in the Rooms/Suites?


Yes, each Room/Suite is equipped with a flat screen satellite TV.


Are there speakers in the Rooms/Suites?


Every Room/Suite comes with complimentary streaming music channels. All 2 Bedroom Suites have i-docks and CD players.


Is there a minibar in each Room/Suite?


Yes, there is a fully-stocked complimentary minibar with sodas, bottled water, juice, & domestic beer as well as a liquor dispenser stocked with complimentary liquor in each Room/Suite.


Does each Room/Suite have a balcony?


Yes, every Room/Suite features a private balcony.

What type of facilities do you provide for ADA / physically disabled guests?


We have 8 rooms for the physically challenged. 4 are located on the Riviera section and 4 on the Heaven section. They are on the second floor, so they directly connect with the lobby. They are near the lobby entrance and also an elevator. They have a higher toilet with hand rails in the wall on the sides, a wider entrance to the room, a curtain instead of a door in the bathroom, a lower sink, lower closet, a flat floor to enter the shower, and they don’t have a Jacuzzi in order to make them more spacious.
We also have at least 1 elevator in each building including the lobbies, and ramps to access at least 95% of the hotel areas.
